The Environmental Care Team aims to help all members of the community to live, work and visit a clean and tidy town by tackling:
- untidy sites - private land, over growth and waste
- dumped rubbish
- overgrown gardens
- fly tipping
- fly posting
- vandalism and graffiti
- dog fouling
- damaged dog waste bins
- leaf fall

We aim to respond to all reports within 24 hours and keep you updated on the course of action to be taken.
Over 234 miles of roads and streets across the city of Southend-on-Sea are cleaned. That's a similar distance to driving from Southend-on-Sea to Manchester. We are also responsible for emptying 685 litter bins and 341 dog waste bins located across the city.
