If you have children living with you who are 18 or over, a Single Person discount would not apply. This is because as the property is occupied by two or more adults.

If you still receive Child Benefit, then you can apply for a disregard discount.

You may continue to receive Child Benefit if your child:

  • has remained in full-time education

Under the Homes for Ukraine scheme, an adult refugee living with you will not invalidate this discount.
