2024 UK Parliamentary General election, and Kursaal ward by-election, key dates
On Thursday 4 July 2024 a UK Parliamentary General election will be held.
Abridged dates and deadlines are as follows:
- Nominations close deadline - 4pm on Friday 7 June 2024
- Register to vote deadline - Tuesday 18 June 2024
- Postal vote application deadline - 5pm Wednesday 19 June 2024
- Proxy vote application deadline - 5pm Wednesday 26 June 2024
- Voter Authority Certificate application deadline - 5pm Wednesday 26 June 2024
- Election day - 7am to 10pm Thursday 4 July 2024
