Licence variation, change of owner, renewal
Variation of a selective licence
You will need to use the property licensing website to make changes to an existing licence. This may include:
- a change in the property agent or company managing the property
- a change of address for the landlord
- a change of household or occupancy levels in the property
- alterations or extensions to the property
- changes to the available amenities
Any applications to vary a licence should be submitted by the licence holder.
Change of property owner
If you sell the property and already hold a licence you need to submit a cancel request. This is to notify us you no longer own the property.
Any applications to cancel a licence should be made by the current licence holder. This should include evidence a change of ownership has taken place or removal from the licensing requirement.
Licence renewal
If a licence requires renewal of a licence you can apply online.
Note you will need your login details and your SOU number. Your login details are those that you submitted your initial application with. Your SOU reference can be found on the first page of your licence.
