Notice periods

Please note all permissions/permits must be in place prior to commencing works on the highway, therefore please allow enough time when making your application.

Application/permit type: Highway permit application:

  • crane/cherry picker
  • hoarding
  • scaffolding
  • skip
  • temporary disturbance
  • vehicle access to High Street

Notice period: 28 working days

Notice period may be extended if traffic management plans are required.

The notice period is increased to 90 days if duration of works over 10 working days.
