Southend-on-Sea City Council is delighted to announce the return of the popular Music in the Park series at the Bandstand in Priory Park this summer.

This beloved event will once again fill the air with an eclectic mix of live music, offering performances for all tastes from Easter through to the end of September.
Join us at weekends and on bank holidays from Sunday 20 April until Sunday 28 September for an exciting array of live performances at the Bandstand. From brass bands to jazz bands, big bands to duos, youth bands, choirs, and dramatic groups performing Shakespeare - there's something for everyone to enjoy!
Visitors are encouraged to bring along a chair or blanket, sit back, and enjoy the music in the beautiful surroundings of Priory Park.
Cllr Matt Dent, cabinet member for culture, tourism, and business, said: "We're thrilled to bring back Music in the Park for another summer of fantastic entertainment. The Bandstand in Priory Park is the perfect setting for a range of performances, and it's wonderful to see this event return this summer.
"We invite everyone to come along and enjoy the music, bring their family and friends, and make the most of the summer. These free concerts are a brilliant way to experience the vibrant culture of our city."
The performances will take place from 3.00pm to 4.30pm and are free to attend. The Music in the Park series is supported by BTMK Solicitors.
