MySouthend is our online forms system where residents, businesses and visitors to Southend can manage their council services online.
It can be used to report issues like potholes, missed collections, raise questions and make payments without having to call the council.
In July, we will be launching a new version of MySouthend with a new system provider, which aims to improve your user experience. In this change you can expect to see:
- a better experience in searching for online forms
- direct access to forms from the council website
- improved information about the progress of your cases
- better access from any device with an internet connection
We believe that moving to a new provider will improve the way you can interact with the council and our online services. Due to working with a new provider, we will need everybody with a MySouthend account to re-register to access the new system. More information on how and when to re-register will be sent to existing users soon.
Due to the scale of the work involved, the online forms system may not be available until midday on the 2nd July. If you have issues completing a form, encounter broken links or receive error messages, please check back later in the day. We apologise in advance for any issues that are encountered by users whilst we are implementing the new system.
Further details about how to register for an account and the benefits of the new system will appear on this page, once the new system is live: MySouthend. At the moment, this page shows information for the existing customer system which is being replaced, so please do not sign up before 2nd July.
Before the new system is in place, please continue to use the existing MySouthend platform but please be aware that this will be disabled on Monday 1st July, so new forms will be unable to be submitted through this from that date. This is to allow us to make the required changes to the new system and you will be unable to submit any new forms until the new system is launched on Tuesday 2nd July. For any urgent queries, please contact the MySouthend Project Replacement team.
