Cllr Daniel Nelson, cabinet member for economic growth and investment, said:
“This year has been challenging for many businesses up and down the country, particularly for small businesses. The Best Festive Business competition, which the council's Economic Development team has run since 2014, offers local businesses an opportunity to benefit from publicity that we hope has encouraged people to shop locally in the run up to Christmas. Residents and visitors also enjoy experiencing the festive displays and being able to vote for their favourites.
“Congratulations to The Cliff Pub, Chantilly Bridalwear and Roberto's and thank you to all of the companies who took part, those who voted and to ISpy Group, Dedman Gray, 3D Filaprint and Genting Casino Westcliff, who have provided fantastic prizes for the winners and one lucky voter.”
“I would finally like to wish all our businesses throughout the City a very merry Christmas and a happy and prosperous 2024.”
