How to request a carer’s assessment?
If you would like to request carer’s assessment for yourself please contact Carers First Southend.
Carers First will complete the assessment with you, talking through your role as a carer and the impact caring has on different parts of your life, along with what support is available to you.
If you would like a joint assessment with the person you care for, please contact the access team on 01702 215008. We will contact you to discuss your caring role, the needs of the person you support, and the support available to you.
Carer’s support can also include carer’s personal budget, which is an amount of money paid by Southend-on-Sea City Council Adult Social Care services.
