Apply online for a Voter Authority Certificate
Once you have submitted your application it will go through a verification process. Should further information be required we will contact you using the details you have provided in your application.
During the application process you will be able to request where your Voter Authority Certificate is sent, either posted to your registered address or for collection in person at the Civic Centre. Please note that someone will not be allowed to collect your certificate on your behalf, applicants must be able to collect their Voter Authority Certificate themselves.
Once issued your Voter Authority Certificate will be an A4 paper document displaying only the voter’s name, photograph, date of issue, issuing local authority, a unique reference number and a recommended renewal date.
Please keep this safe and bring it along with you on polling day to be able to vote. You will need to keep this safe for any future elections.
