Under the Essex Act 1987, you cannot hand out flyers which promote hotels, restaurants, shops, theatres etc. within the designated area (see the downloadable map for detail of the area).
Handing out promotional flyers within the designated area is expressly forbidden. We cannot legally give consent to anyone wanting to carry out that type of promotion.
Police and council officers will report you if you are found doing any of the above activities in the designated area.
