Southend Central Area Action Plan (SCAAP) Revised Proposed Submission (November 2016)

The Southend Central Area Action Plan (SCAAP) Revised Proposed Submission version was published for public consultation between 3 November and 16 December 2016. This document contained the policies as the Council intended to submit them to the Secretary of State. This consultation provided people with the opportunity to comment on the proposed Plan and to state whether they consider the Plan to be ‘legally compliant’ and ‘sound’.

A total of 410 representations were received during the consultation. A summary of the representations received at this stage can be viewed in the Regulation 22 Consultation Statement) (Submission Document 4). The Council is proposed a small number of suggested amendments, outlined in Submission Document 3.
