The Conservation Working Party is a subgroup of councillors and local conservation societies which is set up to debate the following issues and make recommendations to the Cabinet:
- to identify conservation issues of importance to the Borough
- to consider conservation policy and monitor changes in Conservation Areas
- to consider practical conservation projects in the Borough, including partnerships with other organisations
- to consider major planning applications with conservation implications referred to it by the Development Control Committee and to make comments to the Development Control Committee
The minutes of the Conservation Working Party meetings will be available to download from this webpage shortly after each meeting in provisional form first and then in final form once they have been agreed by the members at the next Working Party meeting.
Additional attachments are provisional items for discussion by the Working Party at future meetings. Final agreed publications and documents will appear in full in the appropriate sections of this website.
