Information sharing with partners
We are committed to providing effective services. To meet this objective we must share information securely to support practitioners, professionals, services and partners in working together to prevent problems getting worse with early intervention and effective prevention.In addition, the sharing of information can help to meet the requirements of statutory and local initiatives.
Data sharing can take place in a way that helps us deliver the better services that we all want, while still respecting people's legitimate expectations about the privacy and confidentiality of their personal information

Information sharing framework
This Framework sets out the details of sharing information between partners, in accordance with the principles defined in the Whole Essex Information Sharing Framework. Southend-on-Sea City Council is a signatory to this Framework.
Information sharing with partners is restricted to this agreed framework. The information that you provide will be processed in accordance with all applicable data protection legislation, including the General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018. Information provided will be securely destroyed as soon as it is no longer needed for the purpose it was collected for.
