SEAL is a partnership tailored for Southend-on-Sea that includes:
- landlords
- managing agents
- residents
- council
It aims to improve the management and standards of privately rented properties and reduce anti-social behaviour in their managed properties.
As a result of this, the proposal to introduce selective licensing into 3 locations of Southend has been postponed, pending the success of SEAL.
The SEAL Compliance and Monitoring Officer is Tina Shepherd who can be contacted by phone: 07722 600 639 or email: info@southeastalliance.org. You can also visit the SEAL website.
